Everyone knows that to make fluffy slime, you need to pour glue into a container and then add shaving foam or shampoo to it. After mixing these two components, it was discovered that the mass does not require an additional thickener and can be used on its own.

Easy Slime Recipes

Today, there are a lot of simple recipes that allow you to make slime from just 2 ingredients.

With shampoo

You can make a slime from 2 available ingredients using shampoo and toothpaste.

The recipe is simple: for 1 part of the paste you will need 4 parts of thick shampoo, after which everything is thoroughly mixed. Then the container with the mass is placed in the refrigerator for 1-1.5 hours to harden.

After the slime has cooled, it should be thoroughly kneaded in your hands to achieve the desired consistency and elasticity. If the mass has not hardened enough, you can put it in the freezer for 30-40 minutes. The recipe with shampoo is the simplest, fastest and easiest way to make a slime.

Triple Cologne Recipe

The cologne contains ethyl alcohol, which acts as an activator for the office glue. The slime made according to this recipe is a bit tight and does not stretch well. However, its surface will have a shiny appearance, and it will last longer than others.

To prepare it, you need to perform a number of actions:

1. Pour 50 ml of glue into the prepared container.
2. Add 1.5 teaspoons of cologne to it and mix the mixture thoroughly.
3. During the mixing process, the mixture will begin to thicken, and will need to be kneaded by hand.
4. It is necessary to monitor the consistency and, if necessary, add a few drops of cologne.
5. The finished slime can be squeezed slightly to remove excess liquid.

From air plasticine

This is one of the ways to make slime from two or more ingredients. To prepare it, you will need:

• water;
• plasticine;
• gelatin.

A packet of gelatin is dissolved in warm water, and the plasticine is melted separately in a water bath. When the gelatin has swollen and the plasticine has become liquid, these two components are mixed together.

Edible Nutella Slime

The process of making edible slime will be longer and more complicated, but the result is worth it. The result will be slime made from two ingredients: peanut butter and marshmallows.

For 2 soft marshmallows you will need 1 tbsp. of Nutella paste. In this case, the first component should be preheated in the oven so that in the end it looks like a viscous mass. Then it only remains to mix it with the paste and get a homogeneous viscous substance. After 30-45 minutes of cooling, the slime will be ready.

From water and starch

You can make slime at home without PVA glue, soda, shaving foam and tetraborate. To prepare it, you only need water and starch. Both of these components should be in equal quantities.

The process of creation involves adding the dry substance to warm water with regular stirring. If the slime is not thick enough, you can add more starch.

Without tetraborate

A slime recipe without sodium tetraborate can consist of Titan glue and shampoo. You will also need a plastic bag for the job, into which 3 parts of glue and 2 parts of shampoo are poured. The whole mass is mixed until thickened.

To get a beautiful result, you can add dye or glitter, but this is only optional.

What to do if the slime didn't work out

A common problem when creating slimes is the wrong combination of proportions. There are several ways to solve this:

• If the slime sticks to your hands and cannot reach the desired consistency, it must be put in the refrigerator or additional ingredients must be added.
• If it contains starch, toothpaste or gelatin, cold may improve the situation.
• You can make slime thicker using baking soda, starch or boric acid.
• To improve the viscosity, the slime is placed in a microwave oven and stirred again.
• If the mass has collected villi, various small objects, a microwave will also help to extract them. It is much easier to extract foreign objects from a heated mass.
• Loss of elasticity due to improper storage can be prevented by placing the mass under hot water and adding a small amount of soda.

How to store and feed - rules and life hacks

Slimes often lose their original consistency due to improper storage. In this case, it is important to understand and adhere to a number of rules:

• Slime is like a pet, you need to play with it often. To maintain its structure, it is recommended to knead it for 10-15 minutes every day.
• The storage place should be airtight. Any jar or container can be used for this.
• Lizuns do not tolerate heat well, so it is better to avoid places on a windowsill or near a radiator.
• Water and salt are important components for its nutrition. It is recommended that the slime periodically add a little of these components to the container and then shake it gently.
