Story
The first Tilda girl patterns appeared in 1999 in Norway. The doll was invented by Norwegian resident Toni Finnanger. She not only showed the bestseller model, but also made a pattern for it. Then she released a second toy and became famous. So, like the story of Joan Rowling, the once unknown Toni became not only famous, but also rich. She opened her own store with textile models, accessories and patterns, and also created her own production, where she invited novice craftsmen.
20 years have passed since the release of the first Tilda girl pattern, and to this day the inhabitants of the planet create similar toys using Tonya's patterns.

Features of Tilda's appearance
In appearance, the toy has distinctive features that immediately catch the eye. Thus, only natural fabrics are used to create it, such as thick cotton, high-quality calico, thick linen, beautiful poplin and unusual staple. The colors used are discreet and pleasing to the eye. The model is distinguished by its laconicism and some asceticism, since only the eyes and toes remain drawn. The arms and body are not always proportional.
Please note! Although each doll is thin, an excessively narrow waist is unacceptable. The images are bright and thought out to the smallest details.

Fabrics
As has already been stated, Tilda is created only from natural fabrics that are pleasant to the body, since the toy was originally conceived as a children's toy. Linen with cotton, calico, fleece and flannel are used as a base. Both silk and knitwear along with terry cloth are used as fabric for sewing dolls' clothes. As for the colors, these can be canvases of rustic and country motifs. Sintapone with holofiber is used for stuffing. Some needlewomen also resort to ordinary cotton wool. As for decoration, lace, textile elastic bands and satin are additionally used.
