This polyester material is more resistant to abrasion than nylon, and is more resistant to ultraviolet radiation and high temperatures. The main disadvantages of this type of product are increased electrification, low air and water vapor conductivity. When a special impregnation is used, the material loses its lightness, but at the same time acquires important qualities:

• A clear polyurethane coating (called PU) is applied to the inside to provide water resistance;
