An angel doll is a kind gift for loved ones for a birth, christening, Christmas and Easter. The bright image of the celestial being personifies hope for well-being. Hand-made angel figurines, into which the work and a part of the craftswoman's soul have been invested, are a doubly touching present.

What kinds of angel crafts are there?
Cherubs symbolize protection from adversity, the evil eye, and illness. Angels have been made since ancient times, when the materials at hand were birch bark, pieces of canvas, wool, and animal feathers.
In the age of developed industry, interest in homemade products has not faded - angels are traditionally created by hand. Each figurine is unique - exclusive things are always valuable.
DIY angel crafts can be seen in wall panels, in the garden, on the Christmas tree. There is no moralizing or reproach in them - only wisdom, lyricism and romance.
For reference! A toy is made from anything that can be picked up, sewn, cut out, glued. These are fabrics, paper, plywood.
Textile crafts are made from felt, cotton, linen, and knitwear. A separate group is angels made from beads and beads. Lace, ribbons, and satin help create delicate airy figures that decorate the home. Foamiran is also used in the work - a decorative foam material for handicrafts, which is known to craftswomen as plastic suede or revelour.
Creativity with children always brings special pleasure - it is exciting and fun. The child, along with lessons in kindness, acquires skills in handling a needle, a crochet hook, scissors and glue.

Ideas for craftswomen on how to make an angel with your own hands
There are many techniques for making angels - from the simplest drawn and cut out stencil to complex three-dimensional dolls in elegant dresses, with a “golden” halo.
Original ideas:
- Angel on a magnet. It is difficult to imagine refrigerators without souvenir magnets. There is always a place for an angel made of polymer plastic. Use fimo or scalpei. The materials are soft and easy to work with. Additionally, you will need Moment glue, dry cosmetics to draw rosy cheeks and scarlet lips. There is no need to dress the figurine in clothes.
- Folding wish-paper. You can entertain your friends with simple folding crafts in the form of a cherub made of white or colored paper. The highlight is in the good wish that everyone who unfolds the angel will receive.
- Angels from salted dough. The figurines are made using the technology of highly salted dough - the ratio of salt to flour is 1/2. Add 1.5 measures of water, dyes. You can roll out and cut out the dough blanks for figures with a stack, or use special cutters - "leaves" are suitable for wings.
Installations made from paper cones, hand-made angel crafts, crocheted or knitted are interesting.
Angels from fabric

A handmade souvenir - an angel made of fabric - is used to decorate shelves, windows, and as a pendant in a car.
Craftswomen make the doll using a pattern:
- Body. Cut out two triangles with rounded edges. Sew the pieces together. You can stuff the inside with cotton wool or leave the toy flat.
- Head. Cut out two circles from flesh-colored felt. Sew them together and attach them to the body. The hairdo — braids — is woven from threads. For a boy, it is enough to glue on the bangs.
- Wings. Cut out two elements and sew them to the back.
The fabric angels are detailed with beads (eyes), and the mouth and nose are drawn. A red heart is attached to the chest, and the cheeks are blushed with a pencil.
Angels from ribbons

Craftswomen make a delicate pendant from satin ribbons for the Christmas tree, without which the New Year is unthinkable. For work they take:
- 12 pieces of white satin ribbon and gold brocade measuring 5x5 cm;
- 12 pieces of white ribbon, 2.5 x 2.5 cm;
- 12 beads each, 6 and 15 mm in diameter;
- gold bell and cord;
- half bead with a diameter of 8 mm.
For reference! With this manufacturing technique, the ribbons are cut with a heat cutter so that the edges do not have to be burned with a candle later.

Master class on making:
- Make sharp double petals (12 pieces) using the kanzashi technique: fold a white piece diagonally, solder the ends. Fold again, solder the ends. Do the same with a piece of gold brocade.
- The resulting triangles are placed on top of each other (gold on top), aligned, and joined with soldering. This makes 12 fragments.
- Glue is applied to the edge of each element, the petals are connected - a pyramid is obtained. This is the bottom row of the dress.
- Small beads are glued onto the petals.
- The top tier of the dress is made according to the same principle, only from white blanks measuring 2.5 x 2.5 mm.
- Cut off 20 cm of cord, fold it in half, thread the ends first through the bead, then through the bell.
- The ends of the string are glued together, pushed inside the pyramid, and glued.
- For the wings, make 3 petals from a white satin ribbon 4x4 cm. The ends are cut at an angle, not soldered.
- Glue 2 flat cakes together, place a third one between them. This is how 2 wings are made.
- Raise the bead, glue the petals-wings on both sides of the bell and the string. Hide the connection point with a half-bead.
The complexity of the work is average, the beauty is incredible.
Angels from napkins

You will need 2 white paper napkins measuring 25×25 cm, 2 colored three-layer ones with a side of 33 cm. You will also need bright ribbons, synthetic padding, and silver braid.
The needlewomen work like this:
- Place a piece of synthetic padding in the center of the open napkin.
- Connect the corners to form a triangle.
- The sintepon is wrapped with a ribbon and tied. This is the head and body.
- The second napkin is used for the wings: unfold it, fold it like an accordion, and tie it in the middle with a red ribbon.
- The wings are tied to the first piece. If necessary, the wings are cut so that they are proportional in size to the body.
A silver ribbon is tied to the head as a halo - the angel is ready. This is the simplest thing that can be entrusted to the baby.
For reference! Instead of napkins, you can use a solid-colored thick fabric - in this case, the "life" of the angels will be extended.
Beaded Angels

Beading is a complex technique that requires attention and patience. But the colorful crafts are worth it.
For one figure they take:
- The large, 12 mm, “pearl” is the head.
- 8 pcs. pearl beads size 8mm.
- 16 pieces of the same beads, but 4 mm each.
- 8 pcs. of golden beads, 2 mm each.
- Czech beads No. 10. Colors: white and gold.
Tools: scissors, fishing line, needles.
First, individual parts of the product are woven.
Bell. 8 beads of 8 mm each are strung on a 100 cm fishing line and a knot is tied. The short end is hidden along the thread, the long end remains for further work:
- 1 row. Pick up 9 golden beads, then 8 golden beads and thread through the first of the beads, make a loop. Continue making loops.
- Row 2. String 4 white beads, then 1 4 mm bead, 4 white beads again, make a loop. String 8 white beads, 1 8 mm white bead. Now 4 white beads, 1 4 mm bead, 3 white beads. Move to the next row.
- Row 3. 2 white beads, 4 mm bead, white and gold beads, 2 mm gold bead, gold and white beads next to it. Make a loop through the white bead.
- Row 4. Pick up white beads and make crosses.
- Row 5. Make a loop from a 4 mm bead and gold beads.
- Row 6. White and 3 gold beads - make a cross. The connecting ring is tightened well, cut off, the tail is hidden.
Wings. Fishing line 100 cm, weaving - a solid canvas of crosses.

To attach the wings, the end of the fishing line is inserted into the bead for fastening, which is on the bell. The craftsmen make a cross inside, pull it through the lower bead on the central cross of the wings, then repeat the cross in the bead.
Next, pick up 10 white beads and make a loop. These are the handles. They are pulled to the bell and through its bead come out to the head mount.
String a large white bead with a diameter of 12 mm, make a cross inside. Now you need to string 15 gold beads for the halo. Make another cross through the large bead, pull it up.
A beautiful ribbon is stretched between the bead and the halo, and the product is hung on the Christmas tree.
Angels made of paper and cardboard

Paper is the most accessible material for crafts. In addition to white and colored sheets, you will need beads for decoration, scissors, and glue.
How to make a paper angel with your own hands, step-by-step master class:
- A small accordion is folded from paper.
- The edges are glued together to form a pipe.
- They cut out the body of the celestial being.
- The element is attached between the folds of the accordion skirt with glue.
- Press the folded sides with the cherub template together.
- Transfer the wings onto a sheet of paper using the template. You need 5 double pieces. To make the wings come out in pairs, fold the sheet in half and place the template on the fold line.
- Cut out and assemble the wings. The largest ones should be put aside for now.
- Take the blanks from largest to smallest and glue them together.
- Cut out small flowers and other decorations from colored paper and randomly glue them onto the skirt.
- The largest elements of the wings are bent at the base, making a fold. The "feathers" are glued on the outside and secured to the back.
The divine angel is ready.
