• A universal option is PVA glue. The most suitable brands are OfficeSpace, Attomex, "Etalon". The product of these manufacturers has an ideal consistency without lumps and is an excellent basis for slimes.
• PVA-M from Luch, OfficeSpace, Attache, Index is a modified product that quickly interacts with the thickener and is well mixed.
• Stationery. It has all the same advantages as PVA. When choosing a specific brand, it is worth paying attention to the consistency and additives. It is better to take the simplest option.
• It turns out to be an ideal and transparent slime made from silicone glue. It is best to choose such material in construction and hardware stores. It does not contain unnecessary decorative additives.
• Silicate glue is also suitable, as it can actively interact with almost any type of thickener.

It is important to choose an adhesive composition of the appropriate consistency. The material should not be too thick or liquid. The one that has stood open for several days is also not suitable for work.

Working instructions with proportions

Before you start making it, you should carefully study how to make slime from silicate glue, PVA or stationery. Each recipe must maintain a certain proportion of ingredients.

From silicate glue and boric acid

Boric acid is a very good thickener, and silicate glue is a good base. Toilet soap is also used in addition. Manufacturing principle:

1. Cut 1/4 of the soap bar into small pieces. Pour 100 g of water over it. Wait until the pieces dissolve.
2. Pour 1 teaspoon of soap solution and the same amount of borax into a separate container. Mix the ingredients well.
3. Silicate glue should be gradually added to the prepared mixture. In this case, 100 g will be enough.
4. Knead the mixture. If the base sticks to your hands, add a little more boric acid and soap solution in equal proportions.

From silicate glue and water

To make this slime you will need the following ingredients:

• Ice water – 300 g.
• 4 small pieces of ice.
• 100 g silicate glue.
• A tablespoon of soda.

Mix water with soda. Add ice cubes and wait until they dissolve completely. Then gradually pour in the glue. Mix all the ingredients.

From silicate glue and toothpaste

You can get a fragrant slime if you use only 2 components - 100 g of toothpaste and 4 tablespoons of silicate glue. You need to mix the components until bubbles appear.

Slime with shampoo

You can make a firm and matte slime using the following ingredients:

• 1 tbsp. shampoo. Shower gel will also work.
• 3 tbsp. starch.
• 100 g silicate glue.
• Dye.

Cooking features:

1. Pour shampoo into a container.
2. Add dye to the hygiene product. Mix the ingredients.
3. Then add glue to the colored mixture.
4. Next, gradually add starch into the mixture.

Knead all ingredients thoroughly. While the plastic mass sticks to your hands, you need to add starch little by little.

With air freshener

Pour 150 g of silicate glue into the container. Add small glitter to it. The next step is to introduce the air freshener - it is enough to press 6 times into the container with the main component. Then all components must be mixed well.

Slime recipe using office glue and tetraborate

This is a classic recipe for hand gum. Slime made from silicate glue and sodium tetraborate is prepared as follows:

1. Pour glue and tetraborate into the container in equal proportions.
2. Mix the ingredients thoroughly.
3. Leave the mixture for 20 minutes so that it can thicken a little.

It is especially important in this case to use the appropriate brand of glue.

With shaving foam

Shaving foam is a very successful type of thickener that is often used to create a unique looking slime.

1/2 cup of shaving foam is mixed with 100 g of glue. This consistency needs to be kneaded for about 15 minutes first with a spoon, and then another 5 minutes with your hands.

From office glue and salt

To make “salty” slime you need to prepare:

• A spoonful of salt.
• 2 spoons of soda.
• 120 g of office glue.

Mix salt and soda. Pour glue into the soda-salt mixture and add dye. Mix thoroughly.

Slime from office glue and alcohol

It is made as follows:

1. Pour 150 g of glue into a container.
2. Then you need to add a few drops of alcohol to the mass.
3. Add 1 drop of dye.

To thicken the mass, it is advisable to put it in the refrigerator for a few minutes. Then knead it well.

If the toy doesn't work - tips for work

There are several ways to restore a toy if for some reason it didn’t work out right away:

• You need to add a little water at room temperature if the base is too thick.
• If the base is difficult to mix, it is recommended to add a little glycerin. It will prevent the gum from sticking to your hands.
• When the consistency doesn't resemble slime at all, it's better to start all over again, but use a different glue.

Don't despair if something doesn't work out right away. Even experienced DIY slime makers don't get the desired result the first time.

How to care for and store a toy at home

To keep your anti-stress toy in good condition, you should follow several recommendations regarding care and storage:

• The finished slime should be placed in a sealed container where the base will not dry out under the influence of oxygen.
• After playing, you need to remove all small particles that could have stuck to the slime.
• If the consistency begins to change, becoming thicker, it is recommended to add a little salted water to the storage container.

Naturally, you should not place the container with the toy in direct sunlight or leave it in a too cold or damp place.

Children and adults simply adore hand gum. You can play with such toys, they relieve stress, develop fine motor skills and sensory skills, and allow you to use your imagination. You can make slime using a variety of recipes. But it is very important to adhere to precise proportions and select only high-quality ingredients.
