Therefore, the product should be selected based on the features of the figure. For women with wide hips, it is best to choose models with a high waist, and those with a rectangular figure are advised to opt for fitted products.

Patterns are selected depending on the material. Floral motifs are suitable for light fabrics, while geometric patterns and national themes look great on linen and denim.

Preparing the clothes and the chosen design
The product on which the design is planned to be applied is carefully ironed beforehand. The canvas is attached to the required area. In order to correctly transfer the design to the fabric, a carbon copy must be applied on top, then a pattern, which must then be outlined with a pencil. The canvas must be larger in size than the pattern pattern.
The canvas is firmly attached to the fabric with a basting stitch or a pin so that it does not slip. For work, it is necessary to select a needle with a small eye. This way, you can avoid traces of a puncture on the product. The clothes will look neat.
Important! When embroidering, you need to be very careful not to go beyond the boundaries. If everything is done correctly, then at the end of the work the canvas can be easily removed by pulling it out along the threads.
For satin stitch embroidery, you can print out a pattern on a computer and transfer it to a preparatory base. The pattern is placed on glass, on top of the fabric, and a lamp is installed under the glass. Then the pattern is redrawn with a marker onto the fabric.

Technique of applying embroidery on a dress
Bead embroidery is very popular among techniques. Such unique models are popular among young people. You can create unusually beautiful clothes yourself. To do this, you must follow the following rules:
- It is necessary to embroider in two threads of nylon or cotton-lavsan. The thread is selected to match the color of the clothes, regardless of the color of the beads.
- For large drawings, synthetic canvas is used, which must be removed after finishing the work.
- Only use a needle with a small eye.
Important! Experienced needlewomen recommend making more ornaments separately on another fabric, and only then sewing them onto the clothes. This way you can remove them during washing.
The fixation technique is as follows:
- beads are sewn onto clothing, forming a column;
- a running stitch can be used, for this the needle is moved in one direction and then back;
- When using a stem stitch, you get a dense work. Two beads on the needle pass through the back of the second bead. Then the needle comes out between the two beads and passes through the second.
A simple technique will help you create a stunning designer model.

A dress with floral embroidery can be created using satin ribbons. To ensure the work is done correctly, you need to follow the advice:
- In order for the embroidery to be neat on both sides, you cannot make the transition with ribbons. If one flower was embroidered, the ribbon is secured, only then a new ribbon is fixed.
- Once the work is completed, the back side is covered with lining fabric.
Important! Such items are washed only inside out.

The cross stitch technique is most often used on summer clothing. Before starting work, it is necessary to wash the fabric so that it does not shrink later. The process is as follows:
- the canvas with the design is placed on the fabric;
- embroidery is done according to the pattern;
- The fabric with the embroidered pattern should be placed in water for 10 minutes to dissolve the canvas. If the canvas is thick with threads, it is removed with tweezers.
Models with cross-stitched designs look very original and elegant.

Original patterns can be created using the satin stitch technique. The work is done as follows:
- The drawing must be pre-printed and then transferred to the fabric. For this purpose, it is recommended to use the lower backlight.
- The finished design is attached to the material using a hoop.
- The work must be done using one-sided satin stitch, so that the volume is only on one side, and the seams are visible from the inside.
- After the process is completed, the hoop is removed and the excess fabric is cut off. It is necessary to leave a strip so that it is convenient to sew the applique to the clothes.
Important! Embroidery should be done only with floss threads, as they withstand washing well.
This technique is great for voluminous knitted items. A simple sweater can be originally decorated with such an applique.
